Loveday is delighted to announce its headline partnership with the highly anticipated Care Sector Fundraising Ball 2023. This prestigious event is dedicated to celebrating the extraordinary efforts of the care sector and raising invaluable funds for two very worthy charities, the Care Worker’s Charity and the Alzheimer’s Society. The glitzy event will take place on 30th September 2023 at Grosvenor House, London.
The Care Sector Fundraising Ball is an annual gathering that brings together key stakeholders, industry professionals, and organizations from the care sector to recognize their commitment to delivering exceptional care and support to those in need. It serves as a platform to acknowledge the tireless dedication of caregivers and raise essential funds for crucial initiatives within the care community.
Loveday & Co's decision to sponsor the event reflects their unwavering commitment to the care sector and their deep appreciation for the remarkable contributions made by care providers. Blending care beyond compare with world-class service, the Loveday team is devoted to enhancing the lives of its Members and their families as they progress through later life and have benefited immensely from the work of both charities.
Loveday’s Chairman Laurence Geller CBE, comments, “I have seen first-hand the brilliant work being done across the country. The Care Sector Fundraising Ball is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate this. When I founded Loveday, the research and resources provided by the Alzheimer’s Society and Care Workers’ Charity were invaluable. I am so grateful that we are able to give back to these inspirational causes and champion others who inspire the sector. It is an honour to join them in the fight against this terrible disease.”
At Loveday, we believe it’s important to support the care community and fundraising is of vital importance for several significant reasons:
Because the care sector often serves vulnerable populations such as individuals with disabilities and those facing health challenges, fundraising provides the financial resources necessary to ensure these individuals receive the care support and services they require.
Adequate funding allows care organisations to hire skilled staff, invest in training programs and maintain high standards of care. This leads to improved quality of life for those receiving care, helping provide physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.
Fundraising efforts can be directed toward upgrading facilities and acquiring essential equipment. This can lead to a more comfortable and safer environment for both residents and staff, improving the overall quality of care provided.
Adequate funds enable care organisations to expand their range of services and reach a broader population, helping more people requiring care services.
Fundraising can contribute to much-needed research within the care sector, which Loveday is a huge advocate for.
Fundraising events and campaigns can foster a sense of community involvement and engagement. People come together to support a common cause, creating a sense of unity and shared purpose.
Fundraising campaigns can raise awareness about the challenges faced by the care sector and the individuals it serves. This increased awareness can lead to advocacy efforts and policy changes that benefit the care community.
Fundraising can be crucial during times of crisis or emergencies, as evidenced by the Covid19 Pandemic.
With adequate funding, care organisations can invest in innovative approaches and creative solutions to address complex challenges within the sector. This can lead to more efficient, effective and compassionate care models.
Adequate funding ensures that care recipients are treated with respect and dignity. It empowers care providers to focus on personalized care plans that take into account the unique needs and preferences of each individual.
