Making Movie Star Moments this April
April marked the start of our Movie Star Month at Loveday and we delighted in making this month a meaningful month for all, filled with all of the Hollywood glamour. All inspired by one of our Member’s love of black and white movies.
We planned a Black & White Movie Festival that was held every Saturday and Sunday throughout April which featured classic films suggested by our movie buff Member. Casablanca, Top Hat, and Rebecca were just some of the screenings which were adored by all, complete with the obligatory cinema popcorn and pick ‘n’ mix!
For our Movie Star finale, we hosted a glamorous trip to a private screening of Funny Face at the exquisite vintage Electric Cinema, one of the oldest working film theatres in Britain.
No Movie Star Month would be complete without a Movie Star moment, so we rolled out the red carpet and treated our Members to true silver-screen glitz and glamour. We also indulged our Members with a movie star makeover where they enjoyed beauty pampering, hair and makeup so they were ready to be photographed by our very own Loveday paparazzi!
Our Members felt like a million dollars as they enjoyed a limousine ride to the cinema, where onlookers waved and marvelled at them, and were left guessing as to who they were.
We look forward to hosting more events that bring our members together and create cherished memories.
