Where do you live:
I Live in Maryland, East London.

Hobbies & interests:
I have loads of hobbies; I enjoy travelling, exploring, writing poems, creative writing and playing my Playstation. I am a sportsman and love football (my club is Chelsea FC) so my favourite game has to be FIFA! I’m also a good listener and I enjoy working through problems with people and helping them to explore solutions. I feel that this is a gift and it is definitely a good skill to have in my role. Looking forward to exploring lots of countries, I like beaches and nature. 

Favourite part of London:
My favourite part of London is London Bridge, it’s an iconic landmark and I love seeing people from all over the world come to this spot, you get to meet all types of people. I love being by the water.  

Favourite restaurant (in London):
Coco Restaurant at Canary Wharf and my favourite meal would have to be the Korean Spicy Chicken Wings followed by Tandoori Mixed Grill – a proper meat feast!

Favourite holiday destination:
The Greek Islands (Santorini, Rhodes and Mykonos). They are beautiful islands with lovely beaches, food, people and culture – there’s so much to explore. 

Favourite movie:
Black Panther, it’s a story about identity and heritage and it really resonated with me – we are all fighting for the same thing.

Career highlight?
Achieving my Bachelor of Arts and NVQ3 in Health and social science is an educational highlight which has enabled me to secure a dream job working at Loveday. My role at Loveday has given me a full perspective of care and business and sets the standard of how the care sector should be.

Favourite meal to enjoy with Members?
It’s got to be fish and chips, Members love this Friday tradition and our chefs make it to perfection.

What music gets you dancing with Members?
All music, anything that makes our Members dance will always get me moving! Que Sera, Sera is favourite for everyone – the crowd goes wild when this comes on!

Favourite part of the job?
Going above and beyond to ensure our Members are all receiving the very best care.

Favourite activity to do with Members?
Dancing with Members and shaking my tambourine. Dancing always lifts the mood and it’s infectious. 

Favourite part of the day?
I love afternoons because everyone is awake, energised and engaged and there is always so much going on – whether going out for a walk or taking part in activities, it’s when people are at their best. 

What gets you out of bed in the morning?
The desire to care for our Members is a joy and I love nothing more than coming to work to be with them and to deliver the very best care. I find satisfaction in aligning my values with those of the company, to ensure that the needs of our Members are consistently met. It’s called the Loveday way.

What does good care mean to you?
To me, good care means giving each individual the time, attention and dedication they deserve. It means making the effort to understand them and taking time to talk to them. Creating beautiful moments and memories is a pleasure and passion for me. Good care comes from the heart. 

If you could take Members on a journey anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
I would love to take our Members to Morocco as it has something for everyone. Our Members love nature, colour, history, culture and all aspects of entertainment. We would have a wonderful time dancing in the souks (and I would maybe even take my tambourine!)
