Dignity & Respect Care Home of the Year – Loveday Kensington

Loveday Kensington, recently rated CQC outstanding on first inspection has been shortlisted for the "Dignity & Respect Care Home of the Year" award. This recognition highlights our tireless efforts to create a warm and respectful atmosphere where Members are cherished and their dignity is upheld. We believe that every Member deserves to live their life to the fullest, surrounded by care and compassion.

Our dedicated team at Loveday Kensington work tirelessly to ensure that Members feel valued and respected at all times. We place an emphasis on the onboarding of Members, spending a lot of time with them before their Loveday journey begins, whether home care, day club or residential. Members receive a very detailed care and lifestyle assessment which reviews nutrition, lifestyle, hospitality, hobbies, mobility and medication. This is followed by meticulous medical, practical and lifestyle recommendations. These are reviewed & updated in line with changing care needs to ensure they are receiving the very best support so they can continue to live their best life.

Care Home Design of the Year – Loveday Abbey Road

Loveday Abbey Road, our newest property, has earned a place among the finalists for the "Care Home Design of the Year" award. We understand that the physical environment plays a crucial role in the overall well-being of our Members. Loveday Abbey Road embodies our commitment to creating aesthetically pleasing, functional and comfortable spaces that enhance the lives of those we care for.

The design of Loveday Abbey Road emphasises natural light, spacious communal areas and a world-class sensory garden, allowing staff, Members, friends and loved ones to socialize and connect with nature. The thoughtful layout and attention to detail in the dementia-friendly design ensures that comfort and safety is prioritised.

Care Home Manager of the Year – Louise Blezzard

Behind every successful care home is a dedicated and passionate manager, and we are immensely proud to announce that Louise Blezzard, the General Manager of Loveday Kensington, has been shortlisted for the "Care Home Manager of the Year" award. Louise's leadership and commitment to excellence have been instrumental in creating a nurturing and thriving community at Loveday Kensington. Under Lousie’s leadership, the Loveday Kensington was recently awarded CQC Outstanding on first inspection with CQC commenting;

Service leadership was exceptional and distinctive. Leaders and the service culture they created drove and improved high-quality, person-centred care. – CQC

Louise's unwavering dedication to the wellbeing of our Members, her exceptional leadership skills and ability to inspire and motivate her team are qualities that truly set her apart. Louise has been recently promoted to being Loveday’s Director or Wellbeing overseeing the whole of Loveday, bringing our best to Members every day.
