Loveday Kensington Nearing Completion

After a very long journey that has seen an abundance of highs, lows and lots of learnings in the midst of a pandemic, we are thrilled to announce that our second beautiful residence -Loveday Kensington is nearing completion. Our home is really starting to look like a home and less like a building site and we could not be prouder of this exceptional achievement. We are hugely grateful to everyone who has helped us in this magnificent journey.

We are delighted to have appointed and trained our team in the Loveday Way, all of whom are eager to start welcoming visitors to view the beautiful property. They also cannot wait to help Members move in and settle into their new homes.

Our team has worked tirelessly and collaboratively to deliver one of the world’s most stunning care homes. They have left no stone unturned when considering the most cutting-edge dementia-friendly design and function to complement the exceedingly high standard of care, experiences and services.

Bespoke beds have been designed and delivered at the property alongside the beautiful furniture and soft furnishings and the curtains have been hung. The final touch-ups on the paintwork are taking place using the latest bacteria-inhibiting paint. We have gone to great lengths with pandemic planning to minimise the risk of infection and to help protect our Members and team. We have used our five years of research and learning from the award-winning Chelsea Court Place to plan and perfect and we will continue to progress in line with the changing needs of our Members.

The stunning sensory garden is really coming to life, creating a tranquil oasis of calm for all to enjoy. It is a magnificent feature and something we are all very proud of and will be used in all seasons.

The heart of every home is the kitchen and our chefs are always the most popular members of staff! They have had a few practise runs and we can confirm that the ovens and kitchen facilities are state-of-the-art! The tables and chairs have been arranged in the dining room, the menus planned, the cupboards filled with staples and it won’t be long until the chefs are cooking up a storm and the Members enjoying their first meals!

We still have a little way to go as we complete the finishing touches over the next few weeks but we are very much looking forward to cutting the ribbons, popping the champagne and welcoming you soon to Loveday Kensington.
