Our Members had the most wonderful month celebrating flowers throughout May, and our love for English gardens. We are blessed to have such incredible events on our doorstep, including the Chelsea Flower Show and Chelsea in Bloom which we have delighted in visiting and drawing inspiration from for our art workshops.
Our May Extraordinary Day took us to Moyses Stevens at the Battersea Power Station, just a short distance from Loveday Kensington. Moyses Stevens are renowned florists who have been creating bespoke bouquets since 1876. Our Members enjoyed a hands-on experience making hand-tied bouquets using beautiful British blooms. The workshop was led by Alex the expert floral tutor at Moyses Stevens.
After crafting the luxury bouquets, our Members enjoyed a delicious lunch, dining alfresco on the terrace of Fiume, a wonderful Italian restaurant serving colourful food inspired by the Amalfi Coast.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed this Extraordinary Day out.
