Held at Refettorio Felix at St. Cuthbert’s in Earls Court, the diners enjoyed a delicious festive feast of parsnip soup, roast turkey with all the festive trimmings, Christmas pudding, mince pies, tea, coffee and Christmas tipples galore! All guests received Christmas presents donated by Peter Jones & Partners, consisting of beautifully wrapped scarves, gloves, slippers, toiletries and vouchers. Chelsea Court Place provided live entertainment by the sensational Satin Dollz, who had everyone swinging and smiling with their vocal harmonies and show-stopping tap dancing. Age UK Kensington & Chelsea provided transportation, enabling immobile individuals the opportunity to attend.
One of the guests commented “This was such a marvellous experience. The food was delicious and everyone was having such a great time, I particularly loved the entertainment. It is nice to celebrate Christmas in this way and especially to be escorted there, I really felt like I had the royal treatment!
Chelsea Court Place is a residential home for people living with dementia and is dedicated to caring for people in and out of the care home environment through events, experiences, education and charitable initiatives. It is an honour to work with charities such as Age UK Kensington & Chelsea and Refettorio Felix who do such important work and to host such a successful event with them.”

Chelsea Court Place is proud to host charitable and awareness-raising events in the local community which have this year included, Stories of Spring art exhibition at Peter Jones and music recitals at the Royal Hospital. Executive Chef Matt Dodge also took part in the Channel 4 series The Restaurant That Makes Mistakes, which aimed to raise awareness of dementia and highlight the importance of people with an early onset dementia diagnosis to continue working. James comments, “We are committed to research and excellence and are proud to share our knowledge to improve the lives of people living with dementia. We are honoured to make a difference to our community and we are very much looking forward to amplifying these initiatives as we continue to grow our business in 2020.”
