Boutique Sale at Loveday Kensington

A Celebration of Fashion and Friendship

We were delighted to host a Boutique Sale at Loveday Kensington, a heartfelt celebration of both fashion and friendship. Nestled in an intimate room, tables displayed a dazzling array of vintage jewellery and designer clothing, each piece radiating history and timeless elegance. This collection belonged to a beloved Member who recently passed, a woman known for her refined taste, love of colour and generous spirit.

The sale was the idea of her dear friend, another Member at Loveday. Knowing her friend would want her treasured items to live on and to bring joy to others, she lovingly suggested the sale. Loveday’s community embraced the sentiment and Members, families and staff gathered to share in the legacy, enjoying each piece’s charm.

All proceeds were donated to Cancer Research, a cause close to the Member’s heart. The Boutique Sale was more than an event; it was a tribute to friendship, a celebration of life and a reminder of the beauty in giving. As guests left with their chosen mementos, they carried forward not only a piece of vintage elegance but also a spirit of enduring generosity.
