To celebrate Ladies Day at Ascot, we invited esteemed Milliner Petula Duvigneau to collaborate with our Artist in Residence Grace Holliday to deliver a dynamic workshop on the art of hat making.
Petula gave a first-hand insight into her millinery practice with a demonstration of how to make a hat, before moving on to a handling session of her collection. Our members were delighted to try on an array of different hats and fascinators of their choice. They were incredibly animated during the session, recollecting memories of races and weddings and sharing their experiences.
There is a definite flair for headwear and a passion for fashion amongst our members, who thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We are looking forward to having Petula return for another hat making session in the very near future.
